Foods of Athenry is an Irish family business in County Galway that's been baking proper biscuits since 2006. What started as a single woman baking from her farmhouse kitchen has grown into an artisan bakery exporting around the world, but the recipes still taste like they come from someone's home oven.
The range is what we'd call old-fashioned in the best way. Crunchy biscuits, gluten-free options, classic flavours like ginger, oat, and chocolate chip, plus more interesting combinations like beetroot and chocolate or chilli and lime. They use Irish butter, Irish oats, and small-batch processes that mean every bite tastes considered.
These work brilliantly with a cup of tea, in a hamper, or as a thoughtful "something nice" to drop off when someone deserves a treat. The packaging is gorgeous too, the kind that makes them feel like a proper gift even when you're giving them to yourself.
